Mr. Crabtree

Michael Crabtree is taking a calculated risk by continuing his current holdout with the San Francisco 49 ers .  First of all, Crabtree is looking to be paid more like a man that was drafted between picks five and seven rather than the number ten pick that he was.  I happen to agree with Michael with the thought that is he more talented than the number ten slot that he fell to, but the fact of the matter is that he did drop during the draft in April and now he must pay for that.   If he wants to play for a season or two and prove his worth before holding out, than he has me in his corner.  As for right now, although I do feel that is an extreme talent at the position of wide receiver, he hasn't shown that he can be a franchise player at the pro level yet and so I cannot blame the 49 ers for not paying him as such.   Go out and show the skills and on the field intelligence that you showed at Texas Tech and then try to come back to the bargaining table.   All that is being done now
